Medicine Hat High School

  • Medicine Hat High School Medicine Hat, AB Canada (map)

As a band on the roster of The Jellyfish Project,  I'll be playing for and talking to 1200 youth about ocean sustainability, climate change, and environmental stewardship. Through the power of music and live performance, students are engaged into the environmental conversation and are given information on how to become active participants in the sustainability movement. Available free of charge to all Canadian middle and high schools, a JFP school presentation begins with a high energy performance by one of the Jellyfish Project bands.  Students are educated on topics such as overfishing, plastic pollution and climate change, as well as how water issues are connected to social justice and human rights issues, and are empowered with the knowledge of responsible consumerism, renewable energy, and the power of the internet and social media for global action and change.
